Who we are
AH ARCHITECTURE DESIGN LIMITED (“AH Architecture”, “we”) is a chartered architectural practice based in Southall, West London. Asim Hussain (ARB 089302A) is the principal architect and data controller.
What data we collect
When you submit an enquiry through our website we collect: your name, email, phone, project postcode, project type, timeline, budget range, planning status, and the message you write. We also collect technical information from your browser (IP address, page views) via our analytics provider.
Why we collect it
To reply to your enquiry, to provide architectural services if you engage us, to manage our relationship with you as a client, and to meet our legal and professional obligations under the Architects Act 1997 and the ARB Code.
Legal basis
Contact-form data: your explicit consent given when you tick the consent box. Service delivery: the contract between us. Past-client follow-up: legitimate interest, with the option to unsubscribe at any time.
Who we share it with
We share enquiry data only with the people necessary to deliver our service: Microsoft (email hosting), Supabase (database), Resend (transactional email), Groq (AI processing for triage), and Vercel (web hosting). All of these processors are bound by data-processing agreements. We do not sell your data.
International transfers
Groq and some of our other processors are based in the United States. Where data is transferred outside the UK, the transfer is covered by the relevant adequacy framework or by standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects: 24 months from submission. Active project files: for the duration of the engagement plus 12 years (in line with limitation periods for construction work). Financial records: 7 years under HMRC rules.
Your rights
You can ask us for access to your data, correction of inaccurate data, erasure (where applicable), restriction of processing, or to object to processing. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us at the address below. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
